The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro makes the most sense when evaluated as part of a compatible Galaxy setup. Its two-way speaker system, adaptive sound functions and Samsung Seamless Codec are more specific than a generic Bluetooth feature list. Buyers outside that ecosystem should separate ordinary wireless playback from the capabilities that require particular Samsung devices or software.
Research-based review. This assessment examines manufacturer documentation and the product’s suitability for different systems. We have not carried out hands-on listening, laboratory measurements or a battery test of this model. Performance figures below are manufacturer claims, not independently measured results.
The hardware is more than a new shape
Samsung documents an enhanced two-way speaker arrangement with a planar tweeter and independently controlled amplification for the driver sections. That describes the architecture; it does not demonstrate audible superiority over a well-designed single-driver earbud. Tuning, fit and signal processing remain central.
The stem-style design uses pinch and swipe controls. Controls can be an important everyday difference from tapping directly on the earbud body, especially while walking. Try them with your actual hands and use pattern. A gesture that looks convenient in an animation can feel different when adjusting volume outdoors or answering a call in a hurry.
Understand the Galaxy requirements
Samsung Seamless Codec supports an advertised path up to 24-bit/96 kHz with compatible Galaxy hardware and software. It is not a universal Bluetooth capability available from every laptop or phone. Source-device requirements and regional availability should be checked for the precise feature being purchased.
The same discipline applies to Galaxy AI functions, Auto Switch and spatial features. A list of supported services or an AI label does not establish that they work on an older Galaxy handset, a non-Samsung Android phone or an iPhone in the same way. Evaluate the product against the devices you own, not an idealised ecosystem diagram.
ANC and battery figures
Adaptive Noise Control, ambient sound and active noise cancellation are documented. These are useful tools for changing environments, but we have not compared their cancellation curves or tested conversation handling. An ear-tip seal is still a prerequisite for judging either bass consistency or isolation.
Samsung specifies up to six hours of music with ANC, or 26 hours including case recharges. With ANC off the listed figures rise to seven and 30 hours. Call time is a different category again. A mixed working day with calls, spatial processing and changing levels will not necessarily match a controlled music-playback figure.
Durability and buying an older generation
The earbuds have an IP57 rating, and Samsung lists approximately 5.4 g per earbud and a 46.5 g case. Water resistance should still be treated according to care instructions, rather than as protection against every accident. Dry the contact area before returning earbuds to the case.
With newer Galaxy models on the market, a Buds3 Pro purchase should be driven by the actual local offer and remaining support, not an old launch-price comparison. Check that a discounted listing is new stock with a valid regional warranty and the intended accessories. The best value comes from features that work with your phone and a fit you can tolerate for an entire session.
What to expect in a real setup
Does every phone provide 24-bit/96 kHz Samsung codec playback? No. The advertised Samsung Seamless Codec mode needs compatible Galaxy hardware and software. Basic Bluetooth connection is a separate capability.
Is IP57 a rating for the charging case? Do not assume so. The earbud durability rating should not be extended to the case or charging contacts without an explicit manufacturer statement.

Verdict
The Buds3 Pro is a targeted purchase rather than a universal recommendation. It can be a sensible Galaxy companion at a suitable current price, but feature compatibility and ear-tip fit should come before the codec headline. We cannot certify its tonal balance, ANC rank or microphone performance without testing.
